Percival David Malunga is a mining engineer with over 30 years’ experience in companies spanning several commodities across southern Africa. AsVP of Operations at Chemaf, David oversees the day-to-day production operations at Etoile, leading a team managing the mining, processing, maintenance, research, tailings facilities, infrastructure, finance and ESG aspects of the business. His career started with Wankie Colliery Company, Zimbabwe, and has included senior leadership positions at companies in South Africa and Namibia before joining Chemaf. Qualifications include a BSc Mining Engineering (University of Zimbabwe), Executive Leadership Programme (University of Cape Town), Registered Professional Engineer (ECSA) and several post-graduate qualifications. David is a member of several professional institutions.
