Remmy Kawala is a Chartered Accountant with two decades of finance leadership experience in a broad range of roles at mining companies operating in Africa and worldwide. At Chemaf, Remmy oversees audit and reporting, advising on corporate actions, and internal controls and governance. Formerly VP Finance and Business Analytics at Gold Fields Ltd, Remmy’s financial reporting experience extends across International Financial Reporting Standards and United States Generally Accepted Accounting Practices. Remmy is a Certified Chartered Accountant with Bachelor Accounting degree from Copperbelt University, Zambia, and FCCA Accounting from the Association of Qualified Chartered Accountants. He has passed all three levels of the CFA Programme.
